All star show

28 April 2016

Sennebogen will be debuting at Bauma a range of products, the 16t telescopic crane with a new cab, the 5500 crawler crane from the Star Lifter series and the 640HD duty cycle crane. The company will also show its new SENtrack telemetry system.

The company says, "The Sennebogen 613 has extremely compact dimensions in addition to an easy and economical transport, making it a popular helper for many construction companies and an interesting machine for the rental park".

The new 613 is equipped with the proven full-power boom. This means that all extensions can be telescoped continuously and smoothly via joystick, allowing work in any position. With a maximum boom length of 18.8 m and a folding 5m fly boom, the Sennebogen 613 covers a convenient working range and remains compact and agile at the same time, the company says. In addition, the crane can also be transported easily and cost-effectively via flat-bed trailer with an upper carriage width of only 2.55 m.

Another feature of the 613 is the new Multicab 2 operator cab, which will be installed on the small machines as a standard feature, combining a modern design with maximum operator comfort and ergonomic equipment. In addition to a new interior design, the cab also shows a concave windshield for an optimum front view and a hinged rear window.

Other features include an air conditioning system and a modern comfort seat with adjustable control elements. This seat, which can be adjusted 1.75 m in height and allows an ideal overview of the working range, the company says.

The Sennebogen 613 is powered by an economical 92 kW diesel engine compliant with the Tier 4f emission standard. The company says: "This new generation of engines not only meets the current requirements of the exhaust standards, but also has an extremely economical consumption thanks to an optimized exhaust after treatment with DEF.

"In the future, the new Sennebogen 613 will be available in two versions: with a mobile undercarriage and crawler traveling gear."

The 5500 crawler crane, which represents the next model of the Star Lifter series, provides a 180t lifting capacity and numerous equipment variants in addition to a modern Tier 4f engine and the proven Star Lifter undercarriage.

The crane can be used in a variety of tasks, from lifting work to assembling large building elements, or for logistics tasks. This demands flexibility, high lifting capacities, and powerful winches and drives for efficient operation.

The new 5500 crawler crane comes with a powerful 261kW diesel engine that reliably drives the two 160kN winches. The company says the crane is not only stable, it can even be conveniently driven under load thanks to its robust Star Lifter crawler undercarriage.

A modular boom design permits numerous equipment variants with lengths up to 104m including luffing jib. The crawler tracks can be easily removed for transport, after which the base machine, at just 3.0m wide, can be easily transported. All further components are designed so that they can be stowed in containers or tarpaulin-covered trucks in a space-saving way.

The 5500 is designed with green efficiency technology, not only satisfying the Tier 3b/4f requirements, but also providing high energy efficiency thanks to EcoMode, temperature-controlled fan drives, and a Sencon control and diagnostics system.

The modern Maxcab comfort cab provides a comfortable operating environment and an optimal overview. The cab can also be tilted by 20 degrees and elevated up to 2.7m.

The 640HD duty cycle crane has a powerful 186 kW diesel engine that offers impressive fuel efficiency and a lifting capacity of up to 40t, the company says.

The crane is designed for special underground engineering thanks to its robust construction, a powerful multi-circuit hydraulic system and the strong slewing drive.

Applications with leaders or rope grabs can be carried out just as reliably as the operation of hydraulic piping machines for well construction and special underground construction.

The 630HD duty cycle crane is equipped with a rope grapple or drag-line bucket, revealing its strengths in hydraulic engineering and mining applications, the company says.

With maximum boom lengths of up to 35.5 m and an auxiliary jib and fly boom as options, the duty cycle crane is also ideally equipped for use as a crane with lifting capacities of up to 30t. The Sennebogen 630 is also powered by a 186 kW diesel engine. Sennebogen will also introduce its own SENtrack telemetry system, which represents a central platform for monitoring machine data worldwide, locating positions and for the effective planning of maintenance.

The system will be able to provide in real-time the status of the machine, offering maintenance personnel and machine supervisors an attractive user interface for fleet management.

For example, this system can determine wirelessly live data such as fuel consumption, engine temperature, hydraulic pressure and utilization rate. At the same time, the data can also be easily traced over longer periods and the exact position of the machines can be determined on a map via GPS.
