Prinoth, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tracked vehicles, is returning to ConExpo to showcase some of its range of utility vehicles and other machinery at stand G4023. One unique aspect of Prinoth’s range of Panther carriers is its extremely low ground pressure. These vehicles offer optimal contact with the terrain, yet only gently touch the ground, meaning a smooth ride for the operator and access to all terrains, including water, rocks, steep hills, swamps and deep mud. The design allows the Panther to reach fording depths of up to 1.397m (55in).

Panther vehicles use a zig-zag patterned (pavement friendly) rubber track design, increasing traction and side-hill grip, and large wheel tandem undercarriages, enhancing off-road mobility and comfort.

One highlight at Prinoth’s stand will be its Panther T8, equipped with a knuckleboom. This low ground- pressure vehicle is capable of operating in the harshest of weather and off-road conditions.

The Panther T8 has a two-person cab and large deck space, and its widened chassis accepts almost all implements without modification. It is ideal for operation in the mining, construction, oil and gas, and electric utility sectors. The company says that from construction to right-of- way maintenance, and from the middle of nowhere to inner cities, the T8 has all the toughness and reliability needed in a crawler.

Prinoth will also exhibit its Panther T6 track carrier, equipped with a flatbed. The company says the T6 is smaller and faster than the T8 but just as versatile.

The T6 has the highest payload of its category and can handle loads of up to 5,443kg, and its unique track pattern allows access and exit from tough terrain while keeping the footprint to a minimum. The company’s newest model – the Panther T14R rotating dumper – will also be on show at ConExpo 2017.

The T14R will allow the continuous rotation of the upper portion of the vehicle independently from the undercarriage. With its 13,200kg payload capacity, this carrier will have the largest payload of any vehicle of this type in its category. The rotating separation of this vehicle will allow working in tight, sensitive areas.

The company will also display two mulch heads from its vegetation management business unit.
