A2SEA’s Sea Challenger to install 102 Siemens 7MW turbines
9 November 2016 by Sotiris KanarisA2SEA has signed a contract with Siemens Wind Power to install 102 Siemens 7MW turbines on East Anglia ONE, off the coast of Great Yarmouth in the UK.
East Anglia ONE is one of the Round three projects in the UK and the total capacity of the wind farm will be 714MW.
A2SEA’s purpose-built offshore installation vessel Sea Challenger will be deployed to install the turbines from the load out port in Great Yarmouth.

East Anglia ONE is owned by ScottishPower Renewables and when fully commissioned in early 2020, the wind farm will provide green energy for well over 500,000 homes in the UK.
