Australian Crane & Machinery (ACM) has opened a new service workshop, ACM Brisbane, in Eaglefarm, Queensland.

This came a year after the company opened another service centre in South Australia, ACM Adelaide.

Both centres have been doing in house and on-site services and repairs, as well as attending breakdowns for crane hire companies.

ACM Adelaide has completed a major 25 year inspection and repair of a 50t Hitachi crawler crane as well as the certification and delivery of a fully reconditioned Demag AC60 city class crane for a new rental company, GM Cranes.

ACM Brisbane is doing lacing replacement and repairs for a Manitowoc crawler crane with a damaged boom top and insert, as well as a major inspection and repairs for a 50t truck crane and multiple self propelled elevated work platforms.

ACM has represented Kobelco since 2004. The companies have signed a new agreement through which ACM is the sole dealer and exclusive representative for Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and all the countries in the Oceania region.
