ALL Erection & Crane Rental purchased its second and third 150USt capacity Grove RT9150E rough terrain cranes at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2011 in March.

The RT9150E is the world’s largest capacity rough terrain and its 197-ft (60 m) main boom is the longest on any current-production rough terrain crane, ALL says. Only seven of these big RTs are in circulation to date. ALL’s purchase of these two units means it has available for rent three of the seven in the market.

The compact but rugged RT9150E is easy to manoeuvre and ideal for pick-and-carry applications in plants, including processing, refineries, power plants, and other large projects where space is often tight. In addition to the six-section, full power boom, the RT9150E features a 36–59ft (11–18m) offsettable bi-fold swingaway extension. The Cummins QSL 8.3L diesel, six-cylinder, turbo charged engine meets US EPA Tier IV and EU Stage IIIB standards.

Michael Liptak, president of the ALL Family of Companies, says, “This crane offers an impressive maximum tip height of 312 ft., features a hydraulic extension, and picks like a beast. The demand is already strong, so much so we have decided to be all in for this product offering.”
