Bigge Crane invests over $100m at ConExpo

Bigge Crane and Rigging invested over $100m in new equipment for crane rental heavy lift projects and equipment sales at ConExpo.

The company purchased 75 cranes, construction hoists and gantries.

Bigge ordered 27 Terex cranes, including 8 rough terrain cranes, two boom truck cranes, nine truck cranes, two all terrain cranes and six tower cranes. 14 Kobelco crawler cranes were also purchased, including the 1100, 1600 and 2750 models.

From Liebherr, Bigge chose to buy crawler cranes, as well as an LTM1400-7.1 and LTR1100.

Other cranes ordered were: Grove rough terrains, a Manitowoc MLC650, a Potain MDT219 tower crane, Manitex boom trucks, a Mantis 9010 tele-boom crawler crane and Enerpac SBL500, SBL900 and SBL1100 gantries.
