Link-Belt has introduced its TCC-1400 telecrawler, which with a capacity of 140t is the largest of its type in the company’s portfolio.

The crane offers the longest boom length for a telecrawler in its tonnage class, says Link-Belt, with a six-section power, pin and latch boom measuring 59.5m. The boom is constructed from ultra-high-strength steel, and features an on-board three-piece bi-fold lattice fly giving the crane a maximum tip height of 78.9m.

New features include an electronic inclinometer, which gives a digital reading of the list angle. An auto-idle feature improves fuel economy, automatically reducing engine RPMs if no function is used for ten seconds. An electronic swing brake improves control and the crane offers the operator the ability to create a 'virtual wall', with alarms triggered if the crane operates outside the preset area.

Reach out: the new 140t telecrawler from Link-Belt has a boom length of almost 60m.
