The third Changsha International Construction Machinery Exhibition, held from May 12th to 15th, 2023, came to a triumphant close at the Changsha International Exhibition Center and Changsha International Convention Center. With the theme "High-end, Intelligent, and Green - New Generation of Construction Machinery," this exhibition showcased the latest innovations in the construction equipment industry.

The event boasted several notable features:

Impressive Scale and Global Participation:

Drawing the attention of 1,502 global companies, including industry giants like Caterpillar, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Sany Heavy Industry, Zoomlion Heavy Industry, LiuGong Machinery, Terex, and Heli, the exhibition covered an expansive area of over 300,000 square metres. With more than 20,000 exhibits on display, the event solidified its position as a premier platform for industry players.

Cutting-edge Products and Sustainability Focus:

As the first large-scale international exhibition of Chinese construction machinery after implementing the "National IV Emission Standard," this event showcased equipment that adhered to the stringent emission guidelines. From engines to core components, all exhibited machinery met the National IV standard. Moreover, the products unveiled at the exhibition demonstrated remarkable advancements in electrification and intelligence. For instance, LiuGong's booth, spanning 1,400 square metres, showcased an array of electric product ranges, including loaders, excavators, road rollers, wide-body vehicles, high-altitude work platforms, and forklifts. Sany Heavy Industry and Zoomlion Heavy Industry also presented their complete line-up of new products across expansive exhibition stands.

Impressive Attendance and Global Influence:

Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic, the exhibition attracted over 300,000 visitors from around the world. As the first major exhibition in China since the 2021 CICEE, it drew considerable interest from construction industry professionals eager to explore the latest advancements in the field. With meticulous organization and strategic promotion by the exhibition organizing committee, the event witnessed a surge in both quantity and quality of professional attendees. Esteemed equipment managers from leading construction companies like China Construction Group, China Railway Construction Group, China Railway Engineering Group, and China Communications Construction Group graced the exhibition with their presence. Additionally, esteemed delegations led by chairpersons of transportation investment companies from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Jiangxi, Henan, Fujian, and Hunan attended the event, further highlighting its global influence.

Strengthened Internationalization Efforts:

The exhibition attracted a significant number of foreign visitors, underscoring the growing international appeal of Chinese construction machinery. This can be attributed to two primary factors: the remarkable improvements in the quality and performance of Chinese machinery over the past two years and the proactive international promotion carried out by the organizers. Extensive efforts were made to engage international audiences through targeted media outreach and the organization of overseas professional visiting groups from ASEAN, India, East Asia, and South America. The presence of officials from 33 embassies in China, including representatives from countries such as Russia, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Gambia, Guyana, Albania, the Philippines, Kenya, Afghanistan, Ecuador, Nigeria, Nepal, South Africa, Israel, Thailand, Turkey, Mexico, Pakistan, Cambodia, Algeria, Latvia, Mozambique, Saudi Arabia, and Australia, further exemplified the exhibition's global reach. Moreover, several local companies took the opportunity to host international user festivals during the exhibition, fostering greater international collaboration.

Engaging Professional Activities:

A range of engaging activities enriched the exhibition experience for attendees. Esteemed national-level industry organizations, including the China Machinery Industry Federation, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, China Construction Industry Association, China Construction Enterprise Association, China International Contractors Association, China Chemical Construction Enterprise Association, China Civil Engineering Society, China Highway Society, China Construction Machinery Society, and China Society for Metals, organized large-scale conferences and seminars at the exhibition centre. These events not only attracted a plethora of high-end customers but also elevated the exhibition's standards by incorporating advanced technological content.

Rave Reviews from the Media:

The exhibition garnered widespread media attention, with over 100 media companies and 600 journalists covering the event. Representatives from over 10 foreign media companies praised the exhibition for its organization and showcased outstanding equipment from various manufacturers.
