London-based City Lifting has taken delivery of a new Kato CR-200Ri from distributor Rivertek Services.

The crane was purchased to replace a Tadano Crevo TR200EXC which the company operated for a number of years.

City Lifting MD Trevor Jepson said: “We are delighted to add another Kato City Crane to our fleet from Rivertek, We have been very impressed with our Kato’s to date and this further purchase streamlines our smaller capacity City Crane Range to be exclusively Kato.”

The CR-200Ri has a long 28m fully powered main boom and a hydraulic fly jib. It has a gross vehicle weight of 19,715kgs.

City Lifting has also ordered an eight-axle Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1, which is capable of travelling on public roads with a 12taxle load.

This crane can hoist 20t at a fully extended 85 m telescopic boom, while its maximum job length is 276ft. The maximum jib length of this powerful all terrain crane length is 276 feet. The LTM 1450 8.1 features VarioBallast adjustable counterweight and Variobase outrigger set up system.
