US lifting equipment supplier CraneWorks will invest $12m to add 31 Manitex boom trucks to its fleet over the course of 2018.

The Manitex models that will be purchased by CraneWorks are the 35124 C, TC40142S, 40124SHL, and TC50155SHL.  According to the company, the reason behind the investment is anticipated growth in demand for energy.

“The energy sector is gearing up for a period of extended growth. In fact, the world is expected to consume 28% more energy by 2040 according to a recent study by the US Energy Information Administration,” said CraneWorks.
