Wagenborg Nedlift has used a 750t Liebherr LR1750 crawler crane to lift a 340t railway bridge in Bochum, Germany.

The crane, equipped with 260t of counterweight, was transported to Von Walthausen Strasse in Bochum on more than 40 trailers, to lift the existing bridge from its foundations.

Wagenborg Nedlift also used a 400t mobile crane on the other side of the rail track to install the new, 54t temporary bridge.

Ace in the pack: a new railway bridge was fitted in Bochum by Wagenborg Nedlift.
