Fleet news: Orders and deliveries

In the past few weeks manufacturers were busy with orders from or delivering cranes to clients around the world.

Dutch tower crane rental and sales specialist Stravers Torenkranen (STK) is expanding its fleet with the addition of 22 Terex flat top tower cranes, six new CTT 332-16, five new CTT 182-8 and 11 young-used CTT 231-12 flat top tower cranes. Company officials attribute its fleet expansion to growing demands in the Dutch and Belgian markets.

Hiab has received orders for over 30 Hiab loader cranes from UK-based customers Lawrence Vehicles Daf and MV Commercial Limited. The value of the orders exceeds €2m.

Brazilian crane rental company I.V. Guindastes has bought a used LR 1600/2-W crawler crane from Liebherr. After inspecting the mechanical and electrical components of the LR 1600/2-W, which was built in 2012, the crawler crane was completely repainted by the customer. I.V. Guindastes has also bought two used Liebherr LTM 1100-4.2 mobile cranes this year.

Kato's European distributor Rivertek Services has delivered a new KATO CR-200Ri to the government of Sark Island from its UK Depot. The crane will replace an existing Kato city crane on Sark which has been used mainly to load and unload Supply Boats to the Island.
