Floating crane travels to New NY Bridge

The Left Coast Lifter, a 400ft the floating crane being used on the construction of the New NY Bridge project has continued its 6,000-mile journey from Oakland Harbour, California to New York.

The crane has previously been used in the replacement of the eastern span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. The crane departed from Oakland Harbour on the 28th of December and will travel along the West Coast, through the Panama Canal and the Gulf of Mexico, and then up the East Coast before arriving in the Hudson River.
