Germany’s Dornseiff expands Liebherr fleet

Crane company Dornseiff Autokrane und Schwertransporte, based at Burbach, Germany has added two new Liebherr cranes to its fleet.

The company purchased a 500t LTM 1500-8.1 all terrain crane and a 250t LR 1250 crawler crane.

The LTM 1500-8.1, supplied by Liebherr Ehingen, is an eight-axle machine and will be used at Dornseiff's facility at Sibiu in Romania.

It was ordered with a 50m telescopic boom and a 91m lattice boom, enabling it to reach hoist heights of up to 142m and radii of up to 108m, and will be used for infrastructure and wind power projects.

The LR 1250, supplied by Liebherr Nenzing, is fitted with a luffing jib and can reach hoist heights of up to 140m. It will join Dornseiff's fleet at Olpe, Germany.

Raising the bar: Dornseiff has added an LR 1250 crawler crane to its fleet as one of two Liebherr machines purchased by the company.
