The GGR Group has launched what it says is the UK’s largest counterbalance beam.
The 8000kg capacity Libro 8000 is designed to be attached to mobile cranes and tower cranes at height. This counterweight balancer is capable of installing glass, cladding, curtain walling and balconies below overhangs up to 3000mm deep.

The Libro 8000 is fitted with a rechargeable battery to power the adjustable counterweight rack and pinion saddle. Controlled by cable remote, the counterweight saddle can be moved along the beam to balance the load being lifted.

A safety feature prevents the main beam going beyond a +/-10o incline.  The Libro 8000 overhang beam features an integrated hook and can be used with a below-the-hook vacuum lifter, which is also offered for hire or sale from the GGR Group.

The Libro 8000 counterbalance beam joins the Hydraulica 6000 glass vacuum lifter, Oscar 1400 glazing robot, MCC1005 mini crawler crane, and the powerful URW-1006 spider crane in the stable of equipment offered by the GGR Group.
