Goldhofer has received new orders for its equipment from long-standing Taiwanese customers.

Sea & Land Integrated Corp, with its headquarters in New Taipei City, Taiwan, is one of the country’s leading logistics service providers. This heavy haulage operator already works with 94 Goldhofer PST and THP axle lines, and the company decided to add 28 PST/SL-E axle lines to its fleet.

“In view of the continuing high level of demand for construction site logistics, we have decided to order additional vehicles from Goldhofer for handling ultra-heavy loads,” said Charlie Chien, vice president Sea & Land Integrated Corp. The new PST/SL-E axle lines will be used in Taiwan to transport heavy and outsized plant components for the energy industry and oil refineries.

Chi Deh Crane Engineering, which is headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, and has service bases in the People's Republic of China, has a proven track record in professional heavy haul and lift work that goes back over decades.

At present the wind power industry is growing in this region, too, and demand for logistics services for wind parks and turbines has increased significantly. For rotor blade transport operations, Chi Deh has chosen the Goldhofer FTV 550 blade transport device.

Apart from the versatile FTV 550 blade transport device, the latest additions include another 16 axle lines of the electronically steered PST/SL-E and three SPZ-GP flatbed semitrailers with pendular axles. That means the company is now fully equipped for transporting wind turbines.
