The Gollwitzer Company has employed a 120t Sennebogen 6113 telescopic crane to build an 90m underground sewer overflow system with concrete construction components in the German town of Neumarkt.

The pre-cast concrete components that the crane operators Roland Schiener and Axel Tilch manipulated with the hook of this telescopic crane weighed up to 32t and are 4m wide, and they are installed piece by piece into an underground sewer overflow system.

The 90m long conduit, which is installed underneath the road pavement, will be able to contain almost 1,000 m³ of water during heavy rainfalls.

The Sennebogen 6113 telescopic crane is has a maximum load capacity of 120t and a boom range of 40 m. While suspended from the crane's hook, the construction elements must be moved 25m.

The crawler undercarriage makes it possible to use the telescopic crane not only to lift the load safely but also move, extend and retract the load suspended on the hook with ease.
