Hiab’s newly-opened multi-assembly unit in Poland is using a new anti-corrosion treatment process which the company says will offer hi-tech protection for its range of cranes and lifting solutions.

The nDurance anti-corrosion system -- in use at the Stargard Szczecinski factory -- is a pre-treatment and paint process based on nanotechnology and e-coating.

Gert Larsson, Hiab's executive vice-president, said; "A crane is constantly exposed to the elements of nature. Therefore, effective surface protection to prevent corrosion is crucial. By investing in the nDurance process, we help our customers to secure their investment in sustainable load handling equipment."
