Australian company Pervidi has introduced its Paperless Crane Inspection Software, an electronic system for recording inspections and preventative maintenance.

The system has been configured to suit any inspection and service of any type of crane, says Pervidi, and helps to reduce human errors, make the recording process more straightforward, and cut downtime and cost.

It enables inspectors and technicians to fill in records via a smart phone or tablet; scan barcodes and RFID tags, and enter crane ID numbers; capture electronic signatures; and access the inspection history of the crane, standards and reference material such as the crane manual.

Once completed, the software can send the inspection report to the central system and clients.

Screening for issues: the paperless system from Pervidi allows crane inspection reports to be completed electronically.
