Three Jaso tower cranes are taking part in the re-modelling of Anoeta Stadium, the home of the Real Sociedad football team in San Sebastian.

The re-modelling aims to do away with the athletics track that surrounds the pitch, extend the stands and increase the seating capacity. The works, which started in May 2017, are expected to be completed by August 2019 in order for the stadium to be ready for the 2019-2020 Spanish La Ligna season.

In order to meet the completion deadlines, which are crucial for these type of projects, Jaso supplied three Top Line J300 tower cranes, chosen because they are capable of working at great speed. Furthermore, they are towers with a high load capacity and reach: the project involves lifting extremely heavy loads.

At present the three cranes are found behind the south gate, carrying out construction works for the new grandstand and assembly of the roof trusses. In May, the second phase of the works will begin, which will focus on modifications to the playing field and expansion of the lateral boxes. And in September 2018, with three-fourths of the stadium completed, the north zone will be built.
