On 22 June, Italian crane builder JMG launched its MC110 electric crane at Vertikal Days in Warrington, UK, intended for a global market.

The battery powered, remote-control operated crane is suitable for industrial applications.

With its three section telescopic boom the MC1100 has a lifting capacity of 11t when lifting at a radius of 1m from the front. It has a small footprint with a length of 4.08m, a 1.95m width and a height of 1.95m, JMG said.

The fully remote control operated MC1100 is maneuverable with 180° ball bearing steering at the rear axle and twin front-wheel drive.

Most attachments, such as a winch, various jib types and forks can be integrated with the MC1100.

Over the course of the launch, the crane generated interest from petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries in the UK, as well as attracting the interest of hire firms.

The MC110 will be manufactured in Italy and distributed worldwide, to major clients spread throughout the UK and EU.
