UK crane hire company King Lifting has purchased a new Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1. This is the third heavy crane they purchase this year from the manufacturer, having previously bought two LTM 1500-8.1.

King Lifting’s new LTM 1750-9.1 is equipped with a 204t counterweight, 52m telescopic main boom with Y guy system, a 91m luffing jib and 62m fixed fly. In terms of reach, it has a maximum hoisting height of 154m and maximum radius of 112m.

The new crane was on display at this year’s Bauma and has since arrived in the UK and been put to work. It has installed a 108t storage tank at a waste to energy plant before it was deployed to carry out maintenance work on a wind turbine.

The LTM 1750-9.1 can carry its entire telescopic boom on public roads under STGO with front and rear outriggers installed. The outriggers can be removed easily to lighten axle loads, if required.
