Klaas crane for Coppard
13 August 2020UK rental company Coppard Plant Hire has expanded its fleet with the addition of a 6t Klaas K1003RSX aluminium truck crane. The crane was supplied by the German manufacturer’s local dealer Kranlyft UK.
Kranlyft UK says it is the first crane of its type with a right hand drive. The Klaas K1003RSX has a maximum working height of 52.75m; it can lift 1t to a radius of 30m and 500kg to a radius of 40m. As all Klaas cranes it offers a continuous 360° slew.
It was supplied with a 450kg working platform and a searcher hook. Additional features include: wind speed indicator; aircraft warning lights; self-levelling outriggers; second remote control allowing the operation of the crane to be passed from one operator to another; memory function with slew restriction.
The K1003RSX is mounted on a Volvo FMX 420.
