Liebherr deliver to Lebanon
7 May 2013Liebherr has delivered an LTM 1040-2.1 to Transport Houmani based in Beirut, Lebanon. The new all-terrain crane is the first in the country. The rental firm ordered the new mobile crane, which has load capacity of 40t.
Transport Houmani's main business involves crane hire and heavy goods transport. The business said that in the crane hire sector they exclusively used Liebherr cranes. They went on to add that the LTM 1040-2.1's compact dimensions, were ideal for a very wide range of jobs in the narrow streets of Beirut and that its high load capacity makes it incredibly flexible to use with either full or part ballast.
Liebehrr said that the Lebanese company is now planning on purchasing an LTM 1100-4.2. The four-axle machine has a compact design with a high load capacity and 60m telescopic boom.
