Middle East distribution deal for Hiab
14 October 2014Hiab, owned by Cargotec, has established a long-term distribution partnership in the Middle East with Sweden’s Gavelås Förvaltning AB.
As part of the deal, on-road load handling equipment manufacturer Hiab will sell its current sales company in the region, Hiab Middle East LLC.
The move will assist Hiab in meeting its business targets in customer satisfaction, profitability and growth, said the company.
Carl Gustaf Göransson, senior vice president of sales and markets at Hiab, said: "By developing a long-term relationship with committed and experienced partners Hiab is able to grow its presence and customer service in an important market."
