New CEO for Palfinger

Andreas Klauser has been appointed chief executive officer of Palfinger.

“We are pleased to have found such an experienced executive” said Hubert Palfinger Jr., chairman of the supervisory board. “[Andreas] Klauser has international market and sales experience in the area of agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles and can translate the challenges of digital transformation into sustainable corporate strategies for the Palfinger Group.”

Klauser has managed and restructured large business units in Europe and the USA and maintained their profitability in a competitive market. As the COO of CNH Industrial for the EMEA region he was responsible for the integration of 12 brands and units (among them Iveco, New Holland, Case IH and Steyr) in Turin.  Most recently he has been based in the USA as president of Case IH Steyr worldwide.

Subject to finalisation of contracts Klauser will take up his duties on June 1, 2018
