Manitowoc Potain dealer NIBM has announced that it is now selling Potain tower cranes in Belgium, and will provide Manitowoc Crane Care service support for new and existing Belgian customers.

Dutch firm NIBM will join Manitowoc’s existing Belgian dealer BLE, which supplies Potain self-erecting cranes and Grove mobile cranes along with parts and Manitowoc Crane Care service support.

NIBM will offer the Manitowoc Crane Care service to all Potain top-slewing tower crane owners in Belgium, whether or not the crane was purchased directly from the dealer.

Commenting on the extra support the deal will bring to Potain’s Belgian customer base, Manitowoc Cranes commercial director for Benelux and Israel, Adri Van Groningen, said, “Having NIBM representing Potain top-slewing cranes and BLE representing Potain self-erecting cranes means Belgian customers have access to two truly outstanding companies.

“Each has a team of dedicated staff plus the Manitowoc Crane Care parts, service and support we demand from our dealers. This new arrangement will strengthen Manitowoc’s presence in Belgium and bring even more benefits to our customers.”

He added: “NIBM is a recognised tower crane expert, and its knowledge of Potain cranes is second to none.

NIBM has been an exclusive Potain tower crane dealer for over 40 years, and already supplies Potain tower cranes in the Netherlands and the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.
