Four new franchisees for Mycrane in Western and Central Asia.

Business-to-business online crane rental platform Mycrane has appointed four new franchisees, growing its global footprint as the world’s first digital platform for the search and selection of cranes. New Mycrane franchise offices will soon open in: Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Muscat, Oman; Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan; and Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

The business, which launched in August 2021, is designed to simplify the process of crane rental procurement by allowing users to submit details of their lifting requirements in order to receive personalised quotes from a range of registered crane providers.

The online platform (www.my-crane.com) was set up by Andrei Geikalo, a former commercial director at heavy lift specialist Mammoet, and was first available in Russia.

The new franchisees have been appointed following The Big 5 construction trade show, which took place in Dubai in September. Dubai is also where Mycrane has its head office.

Geikalo commented, “The confirmation of four franchisees so soon after our launch is a testament to the strength of the Mycrane concept. Our new partners share our passion for changing the way the crane rental business works, and we would now be happy to hear from other entrepreneurs who may be interested in operating Mycrane in their home country.”
