Tiong Woon increases profits as turnover drops
Tuesday, February 18, 2014 Singapore rental company Tiong Woon has reported a rise in net profit and a dip in turnover for both the quarter and the half-year. In its second quarter results, the firm recorded a 46% increase in net profit of SGD13.4m on SGD89m turnover this was down 10%. The company explained these financial changes were mainly due to lower contributions from Engineering Services and Trading divisions.
Linden Comansa’s bridge over the Red River
Wednesday, January 22, 2014 Five Linden Comansa 21LC550 18t tower cranes worked on a bridge across the Red River in Hanoi, Vietnam. The cranes have been working on the construction of five A-shaped concrete pylons to which clamping cables will be tied. The Linden Comansas were supplied to the Sumitomo Mitsui Construction Company by Asia-Ted, a dealer of Linden Comansa in Singapore.

The heavy lift and haulage division of the company’s revenue rose 35% to SGD154.4m, contributing 77% of revenue and 94% of profit before tax. The firm's total revenue rose 36% to S$200.5m.
