Sarens UK is holding a two-day event on 3rd May to mark its 15th anniversary with a charity golf tournament and an open day at its Teeside yard.

Open to all, the first day’s activities will include Sarens’ first annual charity golf tournament, followed up with a charity race night that will feature a three-course presentation meal and other entertainment.

Held at the prestigious Wynyard Golf Club, the golf range for the event is the home of the biennial four-day Vivendi Seve Trophy that sees ten professional players from continental Europe face a team of Ten British and Irish players.

On the following day, attendees will tour Sarens UK’s depot in Middlesborough and have the opportunity to not only view equipment demonstrations but also operate a crane under supervision.

Prior to the event Sarens is staging a raffle, with naming rights to four of its cranes being offered to the winners during the all-day open day. Tickets cost £1.

All proceeds of the raffle, golf tournament and race night will go to Sarens’ chosen charities for 2012—the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, South Cleveland Heart Fund and the James Cook Renal Unit of South Tees Hospital.

For those wanting to get involved but unable to attend on the 3rd and 4th May, Sarens welcomes any donations and is offering the opportunity to sponsor one of the 18 holes during the golf tournament.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the event, which starts at 12 mid-day.
