Tadano and Escorts form JV

Japanese manufacturer Tadano has established a joint venture with Indian manufacturer of agriculture machinery and construction machinery Escorts.

Among Escorts’s portfolio of products are pick and carry cranes, and a rough terrain slew crane.

Tadano said the reason behind the JV is to increase sales within the Indian market and also to enhance its competitiveness by designing and manufacturing products locally.

Tadano is already present in the Indian market. In 2012, it established Tadano India Pvt. Ltd. with the aim of selling Tadano-made products and providing services for them in the Indian market. Through Tadano India Pvt. Ltd. Tadano conducts sales and services of mobile cranes in the region.
