TII launches SmartAxle add-on bogie
28 March 2017 by Sotiris KanarisThe TII Group has launched a SmartAxle add-on bogie for the Scheuerle-Nicolas EuroCompact system.
According to TII, the SmartAxle significantly expands the range of possible EuroCompact vehicle combinations.
The 2+4 basic combination can be varied by coupling the SmartAxle to the rear and front bogies to create 2+5, 3+4 or 3+5 combinations respectively.
“This makes it possible to specifically customize the vehicle to match the load and route conditions thus making the Scheuerle-Nicolas EuroCompact even more economical,” said TII.
