Zoomlion’s all terrain crane QAY800 has been at work on a wind farm on Dahuang Mountain of Chuxiong, Yunnan.

The 2MW wind power project includes over 40 wind turbines, with each nacelle weighing 95t and needing to be installed at over 80m high.

The QAY800 was set up in super boom configuration with an operating range of 17m and a lifting capacity of 100t.

The QAY800 is specially designed for lifting at wind farms or of other large equipment. It features 72 independent technologies developed by Zoomlion, such as the rotating patent technology, the “one-key” control technology for stretching out and drawing back, and the “self-adaption rope” controlling technology.
