Zoomlion T3000 topples topless tower crane record
29 October 2014Chinese crane manufacturer Zoomlion has commemorated the delivery of its 160t T3000 crane, officially named as the world’s largest topless tower crane.
At a ceremony attended by more than 200 customers and guests, a Guinness World Records authenticator declared the crane to be the largest of its type.
The launch of the crane, which has a maximum radius of 85m, follows Zoomlion's introduction of topless tower crane technology from German company Jost in June 2011.
Zoomlion has also developed the world's largest tire crane, crawler crane, truck crane and horizontal-arm top-slewing self-erecting tower crane, said the company.
