Six Zoomlion T8030-25 topless tower cranes are being used to build the Imperial Pacific Resort Hotel in Saipan, in the US territory of the Northern Marianas.

Jointly-developed by Zoomlion and P&J Arcomet, based on technology acquired from Jost, the T8030-25 is specially-designed for the USA and Canada markets. It has a maximum hoisting capacity of 25t and a jib length varying from 40m to 80m.

This machine was also used to construct the Rolex Building in the city center of Dallas, USA.

Zoomlion said: “Ever since Zoomlion bought out the full range of technologies of Germany’s Jost topless tower cranes in 2011, Zoomlion tower cranes have successfully entered affluent markets like Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong and North America. In the future, Zoomlion will share more green and intelligent results with the world and integrate itself into the global industrial ecology in a more open mind.”

Apart from the tower cranes, many truck cranes and crawler cranes from Zoomlion are also being used for the resort project.

The 140,000 sq m Imperial Pacific International Holdings’ development also include a casino, which opened ahead of the hotel in July, as well as dining and entertainment facilities. The tropical island of Saipan is a five-hour flight from Hong Kong, where Imperial Pacific is based.
