Pinnacle Cranes

Pinnacle Cranes is the exclusive Link-Belt Cranes dealer in North and South Carolina and are one of the Top 5 dealers for Link-Belt Cranes in the United States. We also represent Elliott Equipment Company with a line of Boom trucks and Shuttlelift carry deck cranes.

Our main facility is Charlotte, North Carolina where recently we moved into an eight bay crane repair shop in order to expand our parts and services business. In addition we have a complete Hydraulic and Engine repair facility next door.

Our parent company, Carolina Tractor, founded in 1926 is one of the oldest Caterpillar earthmoving companies in the country. Pinnacle Cranes began in 2001 and as a division of Carolina Tractor.

Currently we have a staff of 18, comprised of sales, parts and service personnel. Our 12 personnel in parts and services have over 240 years in experience with Link-Belt cranes.

We are in the crawler crane, hydraulic rough terrain crane, and truck crane business. Our fleet currently consists of 24 cranes.

In 2011 we have been very aggressive in adding to our fleet. We’ve ordered a total of five 110 ton capacity Link-Belt HSL 218 crawler cranes.

The 218 has become a major tool of highway construction contractors. It is being used for bridgework, pile driving and steel erection as well as material handling on construction sites. Our customers love them because they’re easy to move and because they are self erecting.

We operate in the construction, industrial, military, and energy markets. Our machinery is used by all the major power industries in the Carolinas.

In our partnership with Link-Belt we have consistently had over a 50% market share every year in the North and South Carolina market. Our focus is primarily on servicing a Link-Belt crane population of over 400 cranes.

Pinnacle Cranes is looking forward to promoting the new products being displayed by Link-Belt at ConExpo 2011, especially the new 275 ton All Terrain Crane.
