Tuesday, February 10, 2009 Northland Resources Inc., Euroports Holding, Kemi Harbour Authority and Finnish crane and transport firm Havator have signed a letter of intent regarding the development of Ajos Harbour (in Kemi, Finland) to ship iron concentrate. The mine projects in Kolari and Pajala will ship millions of tons by rail from Kolari to the harbour in Kemi, which is being upgraded to meet new logistical requirements.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008 Middletown, Connecticut-based Marino Crane has been bought out by Memphis, Tennessee-based Barnhart Crane and Rigging. The company is now a division of Barnhart Northeast, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Barnhart Crane and Rigging Company, which also includes Philadelphia's Hake Rigging. Barnhart acquired Hake in 2005. Barnhart also has a depot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Chicago, Illinois.
