First, Rigging International will reposition five Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding container cranes on the dock. Three of these cranes are new, and will be moved to the active quay at Berth 144-145.
Second, it will upgrade four earlier-model MES cranes and then ship them by barge to the TraPac Container Terminal at the Port of Jacksonville, Florida. The four cranes will be shipped by barge in two cranes per load, on separate voyages from the Port of Los Angeles through the Panama Canal.
