GKN OffHighway expands in China

Tat Hong posts rise

Singapore-based crawler crane rental giant Tat Hong has announced a marginal improvement in its earnings for the second quarter of its 2007 fiscal year. Although crane rental and spare parts divisions performed well, general rental performed “below expectations,” according to the company. Profit rose to S$9.3m ($6.2m) on a slightly declining revenue of S$105.1m ($70m).

Palfinger profits continue to rise

Truck-mounted knuckle boom crane manufacturer Palfinger announced that revenue rose by 15.1% to Eur 140.1m in the quarter to 31 March compared to the same period the previous year, and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased to Eur 17.5m - up from Eur 17.1m - equivalent to an EBIT margin of 12.5%.
