XCMG’s XGT8300-320S super large tower crane used on world's largest single-span cable-stayed bridge with steel box girders.

The first XCMG XGT8300-320S super large tower crane has been used on the construction of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Liuheng Cross-Sea Bridge in China. With a main span of 1768 metres and a tower height of 246.3 metres, the bridge is the world's largest single-span cable-stayed bridge with steel box girders.

The XGT8300-320S has a maximum rated lifting capacity of 320 tonnes, with an independent height of up to 117 metres and the ability to install three attachments. With a lifting height of 314.3 metres, XMCG says it can hoist components to a height of 400 metres in just 13 minutes, and has a positioning speed of 5 millimetres per second.
