GGR Unic has said its sales are close to last year’s levels, and it is set for ‘an extremely strong end of year, despite the current economic climate’.

Oldham-based mini crane manufacturer GGR Unic also reported strong sales in November, including five cranes in the UK and 22 to international markets, including France, Germany, Italy, Abu Dhabi and the Czech Republic.

UK customers included Arc Engineering in Essex, Mars Petcare in Melton Mowbray, Burnley Council, Wise Steelwork in Oxfordshire and Dowlen Technic Ltd in Leeds. The cranes will work on applications from resetting gravestones and lifting steel components, to maintaining factory production lines.

“With increasingly strong sales despite the unfortunate current economic climate, GGR’s position as number one in the industry is unquestionable,” said Graeme Riley, CEO of GGR. “Coupled with unrivalled customer service, GGR Unic continues to demonstrate that our machinery is both practical and innovative in a huge array of lifting situations.”
