Van Seumeren and Anthony set up venture

Two of the biggest crane hire companies in the world, Anthony Crane Rental and Van Seumeren Holland, have formed a joint venture in the USA aimed particularly at “the application of mid-range powered cranes”.

Anthony has more than 2,300 cranes in the USA, most of them hydraulic. Van Seumeren is a leading specialist contractor in heavy lift and heavy transport.

A statement from Van Seumeren explained: “While Van Seumeren offers extensive experience in heavy lifting and transport projects and its related engineering, logistics management and project management, Anthony Crane Rental has adequate equipment available throughout the USA that can be dispatched to any location.” Van Seumeren will also make its very large cranes available to the joint venture, should projects require them.
