15 April 2014Crosby has launched its new Crosby Platinum Line range. The new Crosby Platinum 8/10 Chain Fittings Range will be distributed through Crosby’s supplier Arbil. The manufacturer said that the new range incorporates both grade 80 & 100 components, with grade 100 20-25% stronger than its grade 80 counterpart.
The new components have dual chain use and are compatible with grade 80 chains. Crosby decided to develop the Platinum Line to bridge the gap between premium ranges of lifting components, such as its Kuplex range, and other budget brands.
All components are quenched and forged from alloy steel, and include Quic-Check angle and deformation indicators as standard.
The new line meets European chain standard: EN1677 & EN818, with full traceability and certification of each of Crosby's product lines accessible.
The firm's new Platinum line was developed by the same engineers as its Kuplex range and has been produced within the same fully equipped UK premises. As with Kuplex all of the Platinum Line components were individually proof tested to 2.5 times the WLL.
