DICA doubles show footprint

20 February 2017

At ConExpo 2017, stands C20571 and G4011, DICA will display its outrigger and crane pads.

With two stands at which to showcase its equipment, DICA is expanding its presence at ConExpo 2017.

“We have doubled our footprint in this important construction and concrete equipment show to provide easier accessibility to contractors that use cranes, truck mounted aerials, digger derricks and concrete-pumping equipment,” says CEO Kris Koberg.

At Central Hall stand C20571, DICA will highlight the SafetyTech outrigger pads equipped with TuffGrip handles, now featuring five patents – three in the US and two in Canada. The pads provide a strong, rigid and easy-to-use foundation for a wide range of outrigger-enabled equipment, including mobile cranes, digger derricks, high-lift aerials and concrete pumps. Made from a proprietary engineered thermoplastic material, SafetyTech pads have crush ratings up to 750psi and rated capacities up to 300,000lb.

At Gold Lot stand G4011, DICA will feature its cost-saving and patent-pending FiberMax crane pads. They are engineered to provide maximum strength and rigidity for cranes with higher lifting capacities. The pads have crush ratings of up to 1,000psi and rated capacity of up to 375,000lb, and offer significant transport savings by providing the same strength properties as steel crane pads but weighing up to 70% less.

Part of the line-up will be the new FiberMax HD crane pads, which fill a gap between 175,000 and 250,000lb-rated capacity models. The HD range comprises five models. The standard FM7×5×6-HD has a rated capacity of 250,000lb and a crush rating of 600psi, which provides a mid-range solution for RT or AT cranes, or other equipment requiring a large foundation area. DICA’s products will also be present on more than ten crane displays.
