Embracing the theme of Conexpo - the future of construction - the show will see Terex featuring new products from across its entire product range, including AWP, construction, materials processing, utilities and, of course, cranes. In total, some 40 Terex machines will be on display on the 50,000 square feet Gold Lot 1045. Many of these will remain under wraps until the show itself, and cranes are no exception.

One crane that Terex are talking about is the Superlift 3800 crawler crane which will be exhibited in an even larger configuration than at Bauma. According to Terex, the new Superlift has been designed to redefine performance in the 650t capacity class and is a more than worthy successor to the highly regarded CC 2800-1.

Requiring up to 30% less counterweight for long boom erection and complete with new-style cabin and Terex fall protection system, the Superlift has a maximum lift capacity of 650t at 12m and a maximum hook height of 190m. Maximum load moment is 8426tm. All the crane's components weigh less than 40t and are below 3m in width and height to facilitate ease of transportation.

Visitors to Lot 1045 wanting to see something brand new at Conexpo will not be disappointed. No less than three Terex cranes will be making their debut: a new, midsize all terrain crane which specifically addresses the needs of the North American market; a new, class-defining truck mounted crane; and finally, a large rough terrain crane offering exceptional lift capacities. All cranes are designed with customer needs in mind and will help them to deliver success.

In addition to products, Terex will be focusing on service and support, and Terex Financial Services (TFS) will be on hand to provide expert help and advice. TFS will explain the wide range of finance and leasing options on offer and assist in all areas of asset management, from the analysis of future equipment values through to the disposal of used equipment.

Terex team members from many countries will be available throughout the show to discuss and explain the 2014 product range. Terex will also be supporting the AEM "I make America" Initiative at Conexpo. Terex has been supporting this initiative for years and will offer a special contribution during the show.

The company will deliver a press conference on Wednesday, 5 March 2014. Terex CEO Ron DeFeo, and all business segment presidents, will speak, including Tim Ford, president of Terex Cranes.
