Tongling Bridge
26 June 2014Yongmao cranes worked on the construction of the Tongling Bridge In the Wuhu municipality on the Yangtze River. The bridge is 640m long and has a side span of 240m. Yongmao 1000T-M and 420T-M luffing jib tower cranes were used for the hoisting of the p ylon rebars, templates, and other materials.
During construction one 7025 tower crane was installed every three piers making 11 cranes in total. The main piers had a 1000T-M and a 420T-M luffing jib tower cranes working on them. The tower cranes for main piers were installed using a 120t floating cranes.
The Tongling Yangtze River Bridge is a combined highway and railway bridge.
