Spanish tower crane manufacturer Comansa has launched the new 21CM750 flat top modular crane model.

The launch took place during an event at the manufacturer’s plant in Hangzhou, China, where this model will be produced.

There will be 37.5t and 50t maximum load versions of this model available. It features an automatic changing double trolley to optimise the load chart. Thanks to the modular design, the jib and counter-jib sections have six different configurations to enable the adaption to different jobsite conditions

Comansa said that it has optimised the design in the jib and counter-jib connections for faster and safer assembly and disassembly. This system also allows great modularity between the two versions: the 37.5t model can load 50t by changing the front trolley and hooks.

The manufacturer has also paid particular attention to interchangeability. The 21CM750 shares several jib sections with the 2100 series. The new model also features the Cube Cabin.

While the 21CM750 is not CE-marked, it is designed to EN 14439 and certified by Germany's TÜV SUD, as well as receiving Chinese national type approval, so customers around the world can be sure they are buying a crane built to the highest industry standards.

The model was designed mainly to meet the needs of the Asian market, which increasingly demands heavier load cranes. Comansa said it can be used for prefabricated construction, construction of power plants, mining, bridges and other large-scale infrastructures.
