First Maeda MC815C delivered in the UK

Kranlyft, the European distributor for Maeda Mini Cranes, announced that Lift Minicranes took delivery of the first MC815C in the UK. The massive 8t capacity crane strengthens their existing Maeda fleet.

The crane was supplied with the 1000kg Searcher Hook and 1500kg SWL hydraulic two-section fly jib, increasing maximum lifting height to 25.5m.

“With a 19.6m tipping height, new 10.4in multi-function touchscreen monitor and the added bonus of 1000kg pick and carry capacity, this crane offers unrivalled versatility with great lifting duties,” said Kranlyft.

New to this model are: the power lifting mode, the joystick control, the Technos 2 radio telemetry system with joystick control, auto leveling via remote, auto crane stow via remote, MSOS (Maeda Safety Operation System) and an EU stage 3B compliant engine.

Standard features include an outrigger interlock device, two speed powerful winch, hydrostatic transmission, data logger, 6/4/2 fall hook block, tilt sensor/alarm, hydraulic slew brake and five-section pentagonal boom. 

Extensive operator training was carried out at the customer’s premises in Leicester and the crane will be put straight out to work.
