Italian manufacturer of electric, self-propelled, battery-operated cranes and forklifts with capacities from 0.9 to 70 tonnes, JMG Cranes, is celebrating the inauguration of its new headquarters and production facility in Sarmato by hosting an open day there on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

JMG says it is looking forward to welcoming customers and friends to its new cutting-edge facility which it describes as a ‘crane citadel… dedicated to pick-and-carry crane innovation’.

The site of the new facility is actually on an industrial estate that had been abandoned for around 20 years. By locating the new plant there JMG says it rejuvenating the area, in addition to creating jobs. 

On the 25th May the first part of the event, which starts at 3pm, will comprise ceremonies such as the blessing of the company and the ribbon cutting. This will be followed by speeches and drinks and dinner in the evening.
