Link-Belt ups crawler power

At a week long CraneFest at its manufacturing facility in Lexington, Kentucky, USA several weeks ago, the company launched an upgrade to its 298 HSL crawler.

The company said that in attendence were 800 customers, distributors, and media, including 200 rental firm members of the hirer trade association, Specialized Carriers and Rigging Association (SC&RA).

It revealed that the 298 HSL has been upgraded from a 230USt capacity to 250USt crawler.

It also displayed new additions to its Kentucky manufacturing facility, including a recently formed boom line.

The company demonstrated Link-Belt's all new 248 HSL and RTC-8080 Series II.

Link-Belt vice president for marketing, sales, and customer support, Bill Stramer, said, "It's a real privilege for us to be able to accommodate such a large contingency of crane owners.

"Not only do they get to observe our machines first-hand, but we get to show them our appreciation for being great customers of our product."
